While there has been much talk recently about additional "Frozen" sequels, there's been hardly any talk of a sequel to Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph," the animated film that came in between princess blockbusters "Tangled" and "Frozen." Apparently someone has been talking about it, though. In an interview with Collider, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier's" super composer Henry Jackman let slip that he believes Disney is working on a follow-up to their video game-inspired hit "Wreck-It Ralph." I'm gonna wreck it!

When Collider asked if Jackman had heard anything about a sequel to the film, which starred John C. Reilly as the titular bad guy and star of a "Donkey Kong"-style game who goes on a quest to become a hero, Jackman surprisingly said that, yes, he had heard about something going on (although he's pretty fuzzy about the particulars).

"I did, to be honest with you. I can't tell you more, not because I'm being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards," Jackman told the site. "I don't know any more other than a story is indeed being written. I'd be very surprised not to. I'm not blowing my own trumpet. Forget about the music. Just the movie itself I thought was a fantastically imaginative and creative piece of work. Rich [Moore], the director, actually got involved in the writing. There was another writer and I can't remember his name (Editor's note: it's Phil Johnston). Just as a concept, it would be almost remiss of them not to write another one. It's a great idea and it's a great character."

It's true: the Wreck-It Ralph character is a great one, and one that still seems to be pretty important to the company (most recently Ralph and Venellope were added to the playable character roster in their blockbuster video game, "Wreck-It Ralph") and, while the movie didn't exactly make "Frozen" money, it still amassed almost $500 million worldwide, which isn't exactly something to sneeze at.

Those who want to see "Wreck-It Ralph 2: Wreckx-N-Effect" will have to wait a little longer, though, with the Disney Animation Studios slate mapped out through at least 2016 (when "Tangled" co-director Byron Howard's "Zootopia" premieres). We reached out to the studio for an official comment, but they haven't gotten back to us yet... So stayed tuned for hopefully further adventures of the lovable baddie.
