The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" movie is going to be great -- just ask the film's (maybe) producer, David Heyman.

Heyman, who produced all eight "Harry Potter" films, hasn't said definitively whether or not he's working on J.K. Rowling's big-screen adaptation of her fictitious wizard textbook "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." But Heyman (pictured above, with Daniel Radcliffe at the 2007 Japanese premiere of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix") made it clear he's extremely happy about the author-turned-screenwriter's new project.

At a press junket this week for one-time "Potter" director Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity," Heyman made his first public comments about the upcoming "Beasts" movie, which focuses on its fictional author, Newt Scamander.

"I can't talk really about it yet. All I can say is that it's great," he said. "Jo had no need to go back to this universe or world. It's not Harry Potter per se, but the world of Harry. She's chosen to do so because she felt a need to tell a story. That she's doing it means that it's going to be very, very special."

"As a fan, as a filmmaker, I am really... really... really excited," Heyman added in an interview with Hypeable. " ... It's going to be very good. I assure you."

While Heyman isn't spilling the beans about the plot or characters, one thing fans know for sure about the film is that it won't include Harry. "Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe said in a recent interview that he's happy for filmmakers, but he won't make an appearance.

"I'm sure they're going to have a great time. I'm sure a lot of people will be really excited," Radcliffe said. "I, needless to say, won't be involved. I don't know if any of us (the original Potter cast) will be. I know nothing about it."
