The "Salt" star tops Forbes's annual list with a solid $33 million, followed by "The Hunger Games" leading lady Jennifer Lawrence, who earned $26 million in the same June 2012 to June 2013 time period.
Despite the fact that Jolie's last big-budget film, "The Tourist," underwhelmed audiences, the actress is showing no signs of stopping. She made her writing and directorial debut with 2011's "In the Land of Blood and Honey," and will step behind the camera again for the upcoming "Unbroken."
The mom of six recently revealed she underwent a double mastectomy to greatly reduce her risk of breast cancer, yet the A-lister found time to film Disney's "Maleficent," the story of "Sleeping Beauty"'s villain, set to hit theaters next summer.
Forbes reports that Jolie can garner $15 million for a role, a price tag that certainly didn't hurt her chances of taking the top spot.
Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Aniston, and Emma Stone round out the top five, having earned $22 million, $20 million, and $16 million, respectively.
