'Last Vegas' Cast

"Tonight, we're gonna party like it's 1959," declares Kevin Kline in the trailer for "Last Vegas," which looks to be a cross between "The Hangover" and "Grown Ups: The Geriatric Years."

Kline plays Sam, whose lifelong pal Billy (Michael Douglas) is finally taking the plunge and getting married -- to his 30-something girlfriend. Eager to relive their glory days and shed their senior skin, they round up their friends Archie (Morgan Freeman) and Paddy (Robert De Niro) and head to Las Vegas for one last hurrah, where of course the foursome soon realizes that they've gotten much older, while Sin City has gotten much, much younger.

If you don't actively cringe when Freeman mentions hemorrhoids or the group doesn't understand who 50 Cent is ("Curtis Jackson? Oh yeah, from the Jackson 5," Kline says), then you might be able to overlook the film's simple premise of "old guys trying to fit in with young people and failing miserably." After all, Kline, Douglas, De Niro, and Freeman are all Oscar winners and gifted performers, and the talented supporting cast includes Mary Steenburgen and Romany Malco. Can they infuse "Last Vegas" with some redeeming qualities?

We'll find out later this year when "Last Vegas" opens November 1.
