The movie is a sweeping period romance and stars Cooper as a logging baron, with Lawrence playing his new wife. Back when Angelina Jolie and Darren Aronofsky were attached to the project, it seemed more focused on her "descent into madness," because Aronofsky loves movies where people descend into madness. There still seems to be that component (especially in the second half of the trailer) but it looks much more focused on the relationship between Cooper and Lawrence and their efforts to log a particularly difficult mountain, which makes it something that we can all relate to. Considering the success Cooper and Lawrence have had together, it doesn't make a lot of sense why this thing is still in limbo.
Quite frankly, we wish we were watching it right now. But since we aren't attending the London Film Festival (that we know of), a big question mark still hovers around Lawrence, Cooper, and their old timey accents.
