Rowling, too, is always hard at work on something Potter-related, even if it's not a new novel -- she's got the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" movie coming up (based on a piece of Potter miscellanea) for Warner Bros, and every so often pops into Pottermore to publish something new. Earlier this year she released a story about Ron, Hermione, and Harry attending the Quidditch World Cup (to coincide with the actual World Cup) and today she unleashed a biography of a background Potter character -- "Singing Sorceress" Celestina Warbeck.
The new piece was announced via Today's website, with Rowling noting that Warbeck "is one of my favourite 'off-stage' characters in the Harry Potter series" (she spells "favorite" that way because she is British), before unleashing the pertinent details of Warbeck's life and career (readable, in full, at Pottermore). So, if you need to scratch that Harry Potter-related itch, definitely read it.
