The hits just keep on coming when it comes to this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The major studios have announced their big-ticket movies set to fill Hall H to capacity, and they're all within that genre sweet spot.

Universal will be bringing "Kick-Ass 2" and "Riddick" to SDCC, with panels featuring actors and filmmakers from both movies. The participants for the "Kick-Ass 2" panel haven't been announced yet -- somehow, we doubt Jim Carrey will appear -- but Vin Diesel, Katee Sackhoff, and WWE champ Dave Bautista will appear with writer/director David Twohy to chat about the latest adventures of creepy futuristic antihero Riddick.

Warner Bros. will be taking over Hall H for several hours on Saturday, July 20, so bring snacks, drinks, and possibly an adult diaper to see previews of "Godzilla," "Seventh Son," "300: Rise of an Empire," "Gravity," and "The LEGO Movie." The lineups of cast members and filmmakers set to appear at these panels haven't been revealed, but it's sure to be an embarrassment of riches. Fans of serious sci-fi will especially want to keep an eye on "Gravity," the long-awaited thriller from Alfonso Cuarón.

It's entirely possible that the Marvel panel will also feature cinematic goodies. We're being tantalized with "many surprise guests," so perhaps some "Thor" and "Captain America" are in order.

Last but never least, Comic-Con faves Edgar Wright, Nick Frost, and Simon Pegg will be talking about "The World's End," the capper to their " Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy.

Keep an eye on the official San Diego Comic-Con schedule, and stay tuned for updates from the convention floor.
