What is the new Moviefone?
The new Moviefone.com and Moviefone apps are designed to help movie and TV lovers find what they want to watch and where they can watch it in a world of seemingly unlimited options.
How is it different from the previous version?
The new Moviefone incorporates television content and a new-and-improved search utility that combines movie times, airtimes, and on-demand viewing of TV and movies.
Why was it changed?
TV has gotten so good that it's much harder to differentiate between movies and television, especially now that both are distributed and consumed in new and similar ways. With that in mind, we also know that you're spending an unnecessary amount of time searching for what you want to watch. With so many viewing options, we wanted to simplify your search, giving you more time to enjoy whatever you decide to watch.
What type of content can I find on the new Moviefone?
In addition to the content you've come to expect, the new Moviefone.com and our apps include television series and the ability for users to find the television and movies they want to watch and where to watch them, including within some existing subscriptions and services.
Can you personalize the new Moviefone with existing viewing subscriptions, like iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix?
Yes, the new Moviefone allows you to personalize your experience so you can easily find what you want to watch using your existing subscriptions. This feature is currently available on Moviefone.com and mobile devices via Moviefone's apps.
What happened to 777-FILM?
777-FILM is no longer in service. Moviefone will continue to evolve as technology and your TV- and movie-watching habits evolve.

How do I find movie times and tickets for theaters close to my home?
The Moviefone.com service currently provides movie times for most major cities in the United States and is constantly expanding into new cities and theaters. If you are within 25 miles of one of the cities the Moviefone service serves, you should get listings for theaters in that area.
To find movie times for theaters near you:
1. Click on "get movie times" on the top navigation bar.
2. Enter your city and state, or zip code.
3. Click "go."

You can search for movie times in a different location any time by doing the following:

When Moviefone has incorrect movie times, what is the best way to get those corrected?
The best way to get in touch with the Moviefone Team regarding incorrect movie times is to click "Send Us Feedback" (located at the bottom of all Moviefone pages) and leave a comment. We check our Feedback Reports daily and make the appropriate changes.
I'm trying to use my Moviefone tickets at _____ Theater in (CITY), (STATE), but it does not show the movies and dates. It even looks like they may not accept Moviefone tickets. Could you please find out if or when ____ Theaters will start accepting Moviefone tickets, or if they accept them at all?

We get the movie time information from a third party provider and we occasionally encounter errors. New movie times are generally added Wednesday or Thursday of each week, so it's usually best to check movie times at the end of the week for weekend movie times.

GENERAL QUESTIONS
I am older than 17 but I can't watch R-rated or red band trailers on Moviefone. Help!
It's possible that at some point your birthdate was entered incorrectly, and since this information is stored in your cookies and cache they will need to be cleared in order for you to re-enter your age and view age-restricted content. If you go to your browser tools and select the option to clear cookies and cache, the problem should be fixed. You'll then be able to re-enter your age on the desired video and view all of our restricted content.
How do I edit the "My Favorite Theaters" list?
You can add theaters whenever you look up a specific theater or view movie times for movies by clicking the "add to favorites" button that is displayed next to the theater name. To remove, simply click the "remove from favorites" button next to the theater name. Note: You must have an active Aol account or sign up for new account in order to use this feature.
