Universal has yet to comment on whether rumored "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt is actually linked to the film. Good thing we have Ron Howard to give us casting confirmation instead.
The director, father of Bryce Dallas Howard (who's been a "Jurassic" casting lock for months), tweeted a photo of his daughter and Pratt together on the Golden Globes red carpet this weekend, sharing the news that they would soon be co-starring in the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise.

The long-gestating sequel (the last outing hit theaters way back in 2001) has had a flurry of casting activity recently, officially signing Ty Simpkins ("Iron Man 3") and Nick Robinson ("Kings of Summer"), while reportedly circling Jason Schwartzman, Irrfan Khan ("Life of Pi"), and Pratt. But following Ron Howard's (perhaps unsanctioned) revelation, it looks like we can officially cross Pratt's name off the "maybe" list.Pratt's been pretty busy lately, taking on the lead in new Marvel franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy," as well as a host of other films. We're excited that the affable actor is finally making a big name for himself in Hollywood. Here's hoping "Jurassic" keeps his success train running.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, "Jurassic World" hits theaters June 12, 2015.
